The 594 hpa  is across the whole of Basingstoke and Deane Borough.  It includes Brownfield sites,  small greenfield sites where local residents want them and any "windfall" sites that come up over the period.  594 hpa is not the final figure and the motion passed at the P&IOSCOM also sought to "further review the maximum build figure".

The lower the annual housing number planned the less chance of building on large greenfeild sites like the Loddon.  SOLVE believes that by keeping this figure down as close to 400 as possible then sites such as the Loddon will be spared.
